Confident Cougars

(Advanced program-strength and "toning" is your most important goal!)

WHOOO!! You are now incredibly comfortable with the movements, and you want to start adding weight to your lifts (No, you will not get "bulky" you will get that "toned" look all women are dying to have! Don't worry, you can still lose fat on this program, but strength is your main concern!) In this stage, you will follow what is called in the strength world, a "Linear Progression." Although men normally stay in this phase for about a year, as a woman, in my experience, we are unable to make the same gains for as long as men. This period should last 9-12 months with 2-4 resets on your lifts. This phase is where you get that much desired "toned" look.

When you make it past "Cougar" stage, you have made it! This is where all active and healthy (and attractive) individuals strive to end up. You are now experienced with the lifts and all conditioning exercises! Be very proud of yourself for making it to this level, you will be able to stay in this phase for the rest of your life. Continue to follow my Strength and Conditioning workouts to maintain the strength and endurance conditioning you worked so hard to achieve! Go get at it!
